McQueen Logistics is looking for a highly motivated Logistics Account Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, helping manage their logistics needs and ensuring smooth communication between customers, drivers, and internal teams. You’ll play a key role in managing accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient, on-time deliveries across a wide range of logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients. Understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Order Coordination: Handle the day-to-day logistics of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of freight. Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Problem Solving: Act as the main point of contact for any issues or challenges that arise. Resolve any customer complaints or service interruptions efficiently, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Service Offering: Educate customers on our range of logistics services, including truckload, LTL, dry van, flatbed, and more. Help clients choose the best options for their needs.
- Account Management: Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to grow accounts or improve service. Work closely with sales teams to support retention and expansion efforts.
- Pricing & Quotations: Provide accurate quotes and pricing to clients, ensuring that they receive competitive rates while maintaining company profitability.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, shipments, and service agreements. Prepare regular reports for clients and management to track performance and service delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including dispatch, operations, and accounting, to ensure seamless execution of logistics plans.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service or account management, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, transportation, and supply chain processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
